Welcome to Shiksha Tutorials (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.shikshatutorials.in (the “Site”) and the tutoring, coaching, and academic support services we provide. By using the Site or enrolling in our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Shiksha Tutorials provides one-on-one online and offline (Mumbai-based) academic tutoring for IB (PYP, MYP, DP), IGCSE, A-Levels, and other school curricula, as well as coaching for competitive exams (JEE, NEET) and corporate training workshops. Services are delivered by independent subject-specialist tutors coordinated by Shiksha Tutorials.

2. Enquiries, Demo Sessions & Enrolment

• Submitting an enquiry form or contacting us via WhatsApp/phone/email does not create a binding contract. It allows us to understand your requirements and recommend a suitable tutor.
• Demo sessions, where offered, are subject to tutor availability and are intended to assess fit between student and tutor.
• Enrolment, scheduling, fees, and cancellation terms for a specific tutoring engagement will be confirmed directly with you (by our academic advisors) before classes begin. Any package-specific terms shared at that stage form part of your agreement with us.

3. Fees and Payment

• Fees vary by subject, curriculum, grade level, and class frequency, and are quoted individually. Payment terms will be shared and agreed before a tutoring engagement starts.
• Fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.  

4. Conduct and Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site.
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information in enquiry forms.
• Use content from the Site (including tutor profiles, curriculum guides, or blog content) for commercial purposes without our permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site – text, graphics, logos, and course materials created by Shiksha Tutorials – is our property or used under licence, and may not be copied or redistributed without written permission.

6. Third-Party Communication Tools

Classes are typically conducted via Zoom or Google Meet, and initial contact often happens via WhatsApp. Your use of these third-party platforms is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we carefully select and coordinate qualified tutors, individual academic outcomes depend on many factors, including student effort and engagement, and we do not guarantee specific grades or results. To the extent permitted by law, Shiksha Tutorials is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our services.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
